The Chapman Medal is awarded to the undergraduate student with the most outstanding research project in the Biology Dept. This award is named in honor of the former Chair of the Department of Biology, Prof. George Chapman, who initiated the Senior Thesis and dedicated himself to research and education. Dongeun was also awarded a second place prize earlier for her poster at the Georgetown University Undergraduate Research Conference this year. The award ceremony took place at the beautiful Riggs Library.

Jeff took part in the first annual Georgetown University Free Neuroscience Public Lecture on March 19 at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) headquarters in Washington, DC, as a part of the national—and international—Brain Awareness Week activities.
